Customers at Sainsbury's were stunned when they were being charged PS15 just for one onion. Customers were particularly confronted by the pricey onion at the grocery store's online check-out. A customer was hit with a the bill of PS45.39 after putting three small brown onions into her shopping basket. Sainsbury's apologized, and blamed a glitch on its website. The Chinese General Administration of Customs (GAC) on the 31st of August 2022, signed an agreement together with Iranian Ministry of Agriculture on permitting the import of Iranian oranges into China which was the first agreement on importation of fruit between China and Iran. The initial batch of 1.78 tons of oranges originating from Iran were shipped into China by plane through Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
