Biodico Westside, a California-based biorefinery producer, has opened its 20 million gpy biodiesel production establishment in 5 Factors, California.
The establishment is created to be able to produce gas from all fats and oils available and also will be experts in producing reduced carbon intensity gases under California’s Low Carbon Energy Specification.
Biodico offers warmth and also power for the procedure with the eco-friendly processing of production spin-offs.
Unrefined glycerin is changed into GBX, a proprietary formulation that is anaerobically absorbed, while solid biomass spin-offs from feedstocks and from surrounding agriculture are gasified.
A 20kW solar cogeneration array adds extra heat and power to the task.
In enhancement to a state-of-the-art lab for biodiesel quality control under existing ASTM standards, the project is furnished to be able to test the biodiesel manufacturing in actual time by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and fluid stage insusceptibility EMF responses.
Biodico’s Cooperative Research study as well as Development Arrangement with the United States Navy, R&D assistance from the California Effort Commission, and joint projects with academic community (West Hills University, Cal Poly, UC Davis, etc.) have all given innovations and resources that are integrated into the job.
Biodico Westside is a partnership between Biodico and Red Stone Cattle ranch.
