How Agriculture is the Best Investment for Creating Generational Wealth

When most people think about agriculture, their minds often drift to vast fields of crops like wheat, corn, or vegetables. However, there’s another form of agriculture that offers even greater potential for long-term income: perennial crops. Perennial crops are plants that live for more than two years and continue to produce yield season after season without the need for replanting. This unique characteristic makes perennial crops a particularly attractive option for those [...]

Mango Prices in the U.S. Hit Unprecedented Levels

The U.S. relies on mango imports primarily from South America during the winter months. Mango production in Peru and Ecuador has been significantly impacted by the El Niño phenomenon, which led to elevated temperatures during the critical flowering stage and thereby exerted a detrimental effect on overall yields. A compounding factor exacerbating the challenges faced by the Peruvian mango industry is the decline in production within the Áncash region which has caused significant economic losses within the sector, as reported by the Service for Comprehensive Rural Development (Sedir). Furthermore, the escalation in cultivation input costs, soaring by 200%, has added an [...]

Agribusiness Managed Investment Scheme (MIS)

Over the 20-year life cycle of a typical MIS, investors would pay fees in the first few years as orchards were planted, which would become significant tax deductions. Fees would drop after a few years, and the scheme would return profits as the [...]
