Bangladesh Railway will again run a special mango train

For the fourth consecutive time, Bangladesh Railway is going to conduct a 'special mango train' on Chapainawabganj-Dhaka route via Rajshahi this season. Driscoll’s sights on the expand of Chinese market for fruits

Driscoll's which is an California-based provider of fresh berries has announced that it will double its investment in China in the coming five years, as per its chief executive. Miles Reiter, chairman and chief executive officer of Driscoll's stated that he's noticed the immense potential in the Chinese market that is growing quickly. Far-reaching implications of proposed EU marketing standards for pre-cut fruit and vegetables industry

Freshfel Europe warned the European Commission this week on the far-reaching implications of its draft proposal on marketing standards if rules on mandatory country-specific origin labelling are maintained for pre-cut fruit and vegetables. The draft is currently in public stakeholder consultation. The sector urges the European Commission to withdraw or amend specific parts of its draft proposal that will impact competitiveness, raise prices and impact consumption of convenience fresh produce.
