On May 11 The Israeli Minister for Agriculture MK Avi Dichter paid an excursion to the greenhouses used for research and development of the breeding firm Hazera Seeds. “We enjoyed the privilege of receiving our Minister for Agriculture, MK Avi Dichter as well as his Ministry chief executive officer Mr. Oren Lavi, accompanied by ministry members top management as well as management of the division for seeds that works under the Chamber of Commerce.”

Minister and delegation went to Hazera’s top-of-the-line R&D greenhouse. There, they observed firsthand the technology employed by Hazera for the R&D department.

The CEOs of the seed companies gave an in-depth review of Israel’s vegetable seed sector and an extensive five-year strategy to encourage the expansion and growth of the Israeli seeds industry.
