Norway’s Oslo Airport begins jet biofuel delivery for all airlines

Plantations International News Oslo Airport in Norway has become the world's first airport to offer jet biofuel to all airlines through the normal supply mechanism. The biofuel, produced from the Camelina plant, is supplied by oil giant BP’s aviation division Air BP and Lufthansa Group, SAS, and KLM have already signed agreements to purchase the fuel. Air BP has entered into an agreement to deliver of 1.25 million litres of fuel to Oslo Airport with a goal to gradually increase the volume and establish regular commercial delivery. Port of Seattle companions with Alaska Airlines and Boeing to provide lasting aeronautics biofuel

Plantations International Information The Port of Seattle, Alaska Airlines, and also Boeing are partnering to move towards powering all flights by all airlines at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport terminal (Sea-Tac) with sustainable aviation biofuel. Sea-Tac is the first US airport to outline a long-lasting roadmap to include aviation biofuel into its framework in a cost-efficient, effective manner. The three celebrations authorized a Memorandum of Recognizing (MOU) to introduce a $ 250,000 (EUR230,600) biofuel infrastructure usefulness research that will analyze prices and infrastructure required to supply a mix of air travel biofuel and typical jet energy.
